FreeStuffTimes is an iPhone consumer app that aggregates free-product and promotional listings from a remote XML feed. Users browse a paginated list of offers, tap into detail views, and continue reading previously loaded content even when connectivity is poor.

Technical Architecture

FreeStuffTimes is a single-tier iPhone app written in Objective-C with UIKit. It consumes a remote XML feed through NSXMLParser, stores parsed news objects in memory, and uses UITableView-based navigation. The app was built with Xcode 3.1 for iPhone OS 3.0+.
