Forty Weeks Plus is a pregnancy companion that guides expectant parents through the forty-week journey, backed by the MangoMedia PHP/NuSOAP web services that sync the user's connected Facebook social graph to a MySQL backend.

Business Purpose & Ecosystem Overview

Forty Weeks Plus is a pregnancy companion designed to guide expectant parents through the forty-week journey. The ecosystem pairs a native iPad client with the MangoMedia server backend: when a user connects Facebook, the app pushes their social graph (profile, friends, photos, check-ins, likes, and life events) to the MangoMedia SOAP services, which persist it to MySQL for the app's social and photo features.

Key System Features

Week-by-week pregnancy guidance: stage-appropriate educational content delivered natively on iPad.
Milestone tracking & persistence: progress and pregnancy data stored locally via Core Data.
Facebook social integration: ShareKit + Facebook SDK on the client; server-side ingestion of the full Facebook object graph.
SOAP web services: each MangoMedia PHP file registers a single addUser* method on a NuSOAP soap_server, writing into the mangomedia MySQL schema.

Deployed under MAMP at /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/mangomedia
